Handcrafted games with rhythm, warmth and a little brass.

MatrixGameZone is a small Melbourne studio building original indie titles, co-development, and playable prototypes. We turn rough ideas into games people finish — and talk about.

Our mission

We make games that feel like a great night out in Prahran.

Off Chapel Street, in a converted jazz-era loft, our team of designers, engineers and artists build games that respect players’ time. No dark patterns, no endless grind — just tight mechanics, hand-tuned feel, and a soundtrack you’ll hum on the tram home. From first prototype to launch day, we own the whole pipeline.

  • Original IP & co-development
  • Playtested weekly with local gamers
  • PC, console & mobile ports

What players and partners say

A few notes from Steam reviews, publishers and playtest nights.

Brass & Bloom ate my whole weekend. The pacing is perfect and the music is unreal.
